Is there any possible way to play an mp4 or a video on the stage?
If not that might be an interesting challenge

But I think there is some extension that exists that gives a video player extension. I have looked for quite a while and can't seemed to find it.
what do u want to play. u want to upload an mp4 and play it? how long is the mp4 gonna be also
i wanna be able to pick out a 30 min yt video and watch it in snap
I could probably do something with the brute file, but if random websites can scrape the mp4 off of a yt link then I could probably do the same

Are you just trying to get around a firewall? because there are 10s of 1000s of better ways to do that.
That is an interesting challenge. Keep in mind you will have to make the stage bigger to support higher resolution video. The default is 480p, and by today’s standards that looks Terrible!
(Also you may run into issues if the file size of the video gets too big)

what would REALLY make this go better is if i could convert a raw YT link or smth into it instead of having it be a strictly mp4 url
the biggest problem tho is CORS
anybody can download a yt video, but i want that to be automated w/ just a link, or even just a search term
