Do you know of anyone using Snap, or any of its extensions such as NetsBlox, to teach language e.g. English as a second language?
I have seen a middle school class in which the kids were working on making the plural of a noun, checking the last few letters to see what rule applies. They had just had Spanish class and they had a homework assignment about conjugating verbs, and got very excited about using the techniques from the plural project to conjugate verbs in Spanish, writing a block with two inputs: the pronoun for the subject and the infinitive of the verb.
But this wasn't a semester-long or year-long Spanish class using Snap! throughout, just a serendipitous moment.
