The SVG image in the costume doesn't display in the editor

After importing an SVG image into a costume, it doesn’t display in the editor, so it’s impossible to center the costume or resize it to fit the costume’s frame.
(Someone on the forum wrote that to avoid pixelation and blurriness when resizing a sprite, it’s necessary to use SVG images for costumes.)
It’s surprising how great Snap! is for programming, but it’s so clumsy when it comes to using third-party graphics for costumes. And its graphics editors are terrible compared to Scratch.
Developers, please explain how to work with SVG, or better yet, write strict guidelines to avoid glitches.
