I actually reported something similar in the V12 Beta test topic:

Given that Custom Inputs are essentially read-only number slots, the root cause is likely the same. Still potentially worth a separate report though :).

This looks like a visual bug, I hope the devs address it soon. It would be easier to read if it was white, no?

Yes, the trouble is that the input isn’t changing colour to account for the zebra colouring (now called contrast blocks).
