I always enjoy simple pfps! Simple profile pics don’t ever feel wrong!
Even though that is a good idea, that would go against my original mission when creating the Tamagotchi: to make a replica of a Gen 2. The original Gen 2 cannot display different colors or transparencies, so I will keep this replica to one that cannot display different colors or transparencies, either.
Or perhaps I could add a settings screen, one where you can choose to “modernize” that Tamagotchi by including transparencies and colors. Wait, this actually is not a bad idea! I might make this, though as a separate project. Thanks for the idea, @henhen123 !
Though for now, I will just make sure that everything in this project is good.
My play testing log so far
I’ve cared for my Tamagotchi child long enough for it to grow up into a teenager. It took 2 days for it to grow up. The teenager I got was this dude:
I obtained him through good care (0-2 care mistakes) and good discipline (0-2 discipline mistakes).
He started out with 1 discipline because I missed 2 discipline calls during the child stage:
He should grow up again in about 3 days, where I will see which adult I will get.
Known bugs
- Shutting off the lights and switching to the time result in the on-off menu appearing instead of darkness:

Hey @henhen123 and @kingnico1133 , depending on when you started, if you are play testing the Tamagotchi, it should be growing up either today or tomorrow. If you could let me know which Tamagotchi it grows up into, that would be great! You should also tell me how much discipline it started out with

None of my Tamagotchis have died yet, so I don’t know if that mechanism works yet
Today my Tamagotchi will grow up into an adult. Depending on when you guys started, your Tamagotchis will either grow up today or tomorrow (or they might already have grown up into an adult).

Today my Tamagotchi grew up into Pochitchi, the second best adult character. I got them because I continued taking good care of my teenager, but I missed 1 discipline call.
Bugs
Upon running the project, if your Tamagotchi is an adult, it will immediately die.
Status: Fixed!
