Split! - Snap! but Scratch (Part 3)

ideally code can automate it so that the background is like 2x lighter than the accent color and the rest is basically just whatever looks best to you.

Here’s my logo idea:

Looks too similar to Scratch imo. Maybe a different font?

I could remake it as an SVG and it can react to the accent color before render.

The white background is weird but also I think it’s too big in comparison to the UI

I think I’ll just make the while background slightly transparent and make it slightly smaller

Here, it’s not that noticable but it’s at 90% opacity (80% looked off, maybe 85%?):

that’s just scratch.

This doesn’t convey snap but scratch.

Fair enough. The closest it is to resembling is that it’s letters are kinda like Snap!'s, and the doodley style is kinda like Scratch’s.

that’s just scratch.

You could spell it Spλit!.

Here’s a proof-of-concept, made in Turbowarp:

Honestly, I like this logo.

…this is just mine but vectored, red, and says “Spait!”

it does say “Split!” because λ is l in greek

I know this. However, to those that don’t (which I’d imagine is most people), it just looks like “Spait!”. I propose “λSplit!

I think I could just make the lambda thinner (so it looks more like an L) and remove the exclamation mark

Well, definitely don’t do that! It helps mix the Snap! and Scratch logo together

That’s just mark4sisb’s logo, without the Snap! styling!
Well…
split-new-logo2

maybe make the lambda thicker?

Yeah, I just squished the lambda lazily. I’ll make the improved logo later today, thanks!

..what?
No?? Would “λ Snap!” in the Scratch font, style, and color be just the Snap! logo?
