Which also stole from many websites, programs, and even operating systems.
Wow, really?
Oh come on. Why are you “voting”? Explain why you specifically want orange as an accent color.
You might as well vote for Snap! to have an accent color at all, and that it should be preferably orange.

It’s just my favorite color, that’s all. Not so much spectral orange #ff7f00 but rather burnt orange, crayon 45, #cc5500. ;~)
The block editor won’t open and the My Blocks category had disappeared in the latest update.
Additionally, the accent colour doesn’t apply itself to selected sprites in the corral and isn’t saved when you reload the page.
I really can’t disagree, I think adding #C50 as an accent color would look nice (especially with dark mode.)
For those wondering, here’s his recommended color:
I vote as well.
Here’s one vote for orange.
Here’s another.
I vote as well.
At this rate we should have a color picker to choose your own accent color.
But I will vote for orange, too.
Oh. I think I broke prototype hat blocks with the removal of the my blocks category. I removed it since it really only makes sense when single palette is disabled. I’ll fix it up soon
Thanks =D
Here you go, even with Scratch Lab green:
That is not green, that is turquoise-ish green! Green would be the Operators category.
Oh, right. The “green” that I added came from Scratch Lab:
Also; I’ve made zebra coloring a visible option.
I haven’t opened this topic in a while, and I haven’t seen this in a while:

About 50 more posts and it’ll
again!
Anyway, the new accent color is pretty cool, however you could add a option to have a custom RGB color.
Also, this weird thing happens sometimes when you switch themes:

Normal look:
![]()
it’ll
again!
lol
custom RGB color.
That reminds me of the whole disscussion we used to have about color pickers:
I think I’ll try to put that in a little flyout menu box, like in Scratch

I’ll look into it. Thanks!
Up to discussion: The IDE sometimes shows messages, like this:
![]()
However, Scratch shows simple info messages using a JS alert;
Perhaps we could change a couple messages to use alert?
Also, I just noticed something - When you create a variable with a name that already exists in Snap!, it’ll basically trudge through it (and actually hide it, for some reason). We could, of course, make Snap! do the same thing as Scratch (show a message).
About the color picker, if that’s HSV (standard used by Scratch), could you add RGB(A) and color picker support? (I haven’t checked, it might be there)

As long as Snap projects can be opened in Split still.
Well, yes, all is it is just changing some ide.showMessage calls to alert calls. Will do this in my fork after I finish the current thing I’m working on.
