Whoa. Interesting idea! Of course the underlying JS function doesn't have that as an option, but we could still do it.
Do you mean split by command blocks? You're not envisioning separating out the blocks in input expressions?
You can, by the way, already do this with @pumpkinhead's script-to-list and list-to-script library.
