Pen Lines Look Like Staircases

Is there any way to make pen lines not look like staircases when changing both X and Y?

I was trying to build an analytic displayer, so I used this script

to change the x and y values. Unfortunately, it gave it the effect of looking like a staircase. Is there any modifications I can give it to make it look more like this?
