I have my stage as one color, and the design has a hole in it, leaving a bright white square visible behind. Can I possibly put something else behind the stage itself? I already gave the stage a lot of scripts, and I’d like avoid having to export them all and import them into another sprite (not to mention downloading all the costumes, 20+, as well).
You can’t put sprites behind the stage, so you’ll have to use a sprite as the background. You may not have to even move all your scripts to that sprite. Instead, you can use broadcasts, or the tell block to control the new background sprite.
no, the stage is on the layer furthest back in the project
i don’t see why you would have to export anything? you can just drag the scripts onto another sprite to duplicate then to that sprite’s coding area and delete them from the stage
I assume they have too many scripts in the stage to be able to do that manually.
that’s fair, i would personally do that no matter how many scripts there are just to keep order, but that’s obviously not the same for everyone
(sshh, don’t tell anybody, but if you’re really daring, you can now build a little script that makes a new sprite and copies all the scripts at once)
Heh, yeah, that did pop into the back of my mind, but I chose not to mention it.
