How do you make a library on Snap!?
you can’t.
although you can try this:
The way to create a library, is by creating a set of custom blocks. Then you can share the blocks on the forum through a project.
Interesting how three of us think the OP is asking different questions. My answer, construing the question as meaning only what its words mean, is “use the ‘Export blocks…’ option in the File (
) menu.” That’s how you create a file that contains only the blocks, not the sprites or the media, from the current project.
Those other guys are interpreting the question as “how do you make and share a library?” @sathvikrias says “you can’t” because the library files created by ‘Export blocks…’ can’t be saved to your cloud account and therefore can’t be published for other users. And @ego-lay_atman-bay says that if you save the current project as a project (including media etc.) you can save it in our cloud and then publish it.
Eventually we’ll get around to letting you publish libraries.
I feel like all three of you are correct, but I was thinking, “How do you make and share a library?”
