How To Make 3D Animation Program In Snap!?

I meant the behind the scenes photo

You could have the beetle extrude your 3D scene then go be your camera with the beetle view block.

But you probably couldn’t achieve high model refresh rates. (And Snap might lag)

I did this just fine (w/o lag or low refresh rates) in my turbo fly project. Admittedly I wasn’t extruding at the same time, however.

I am worried on how I can move around the model. This is animation and it might mean that you would need to redo the whole are you want to move.

Hey, is there a way to know if a variable is hidden or not. Like is there a way to make a custom block that can detect that?

It’s not doing them at the same time (it can’t do that). Its just doing them one after the other very quickly

Any other ways we could do it?

You could try to make “3D” animation by drawing something that looks 3D on the stage. You would need to do this for every frame.

I am doing more of a 3D modeling program.

You can make a modeling program you just need a 3D display, which is what i was suggesting.

A 3D animation program would be cool too though :)

Can anyone help with moving the shapes.

Hey. I am trying to let the user to change their rotation but is there a way to make a rotation without them needing to rotation for X, Y, and Z.

Do you mean to not have to give an exact x y z rotation, but have a [Start Rotating (X) (Clockwise)] block?

Also have you started making the project yet?

I have started the project though, I have not made it public yet.

What I meant was I don’t want the user to have to put in rotations for X, Y, and Z. Though I don’t know if it is possible.

You could make a dev version. If you use the share button instead of the publish button, people can only access it if they know the url.

What interface will you use to rotate the model? The Mouse?

Probally the mouse or maybe the scroll weel.

Do you know how we could do that

The Mouse or the Dev Version?

what do you mean by that.

I mean do you want to work on the dev version or make a user interface for rotation?

Also, this topic has done really well!
