How can I share projects?

Fellow Scratcher here, I'm new to Snap!, how can I share a project?

In the editor, click the file button at the top-left, [EDIT: click Open...], click the project name, and click the share button. To make the project visible on the Snap! search page, click the publish button.

Then click open or save as.

When sharing projects in snap, there's shared and published. Shared projects can only be accessed by a direct link, so people would not be able to find it on the snap website (only by you giving them the link). Published projects can be found on the snap website by anyone.

There are 2 ways of sharing a project, in the editor, or on the project page.

Sharing in the editor

  1. Go to file 1744317225193696753971360256523 > Open
  2. Select the project you want to share
  3. Click the Share button. If you've shared it, you can then click Publish (the Publish button only shows up after sharing the project).

Sharing on the project page

  1. Open https://snap.berkeley.edu
  2. Click on (or hover over) your username in the top navigation bar, and then go to My Projects.
  3. Find the project you want to share, and go to that project's project page.
  4. Click on the "share" button underneath the notes section.

I think this is bugged, as it never worked for me

Still doesn't work,

Your project seems to be available

Now resloved.

How to do it:

  1. Click :file_icon: -> save
  2. Go to "My projects" by neither on the frontpage on the slideshow thing or click your username then dropdown and click "my projects:
  3. Click your wanted project to be shared
  4. Click "Publish"
  5. Done. Also there is no step. 5.

No, the share function in the editor has never actually shared the project for me.
