Hi! I'm a newbie here

Hi! I’m shilynn! (call me shi 4 short) I’m new to snap cuz scrath got blocked at my school and

I’m a big dsaf playtime with percy and venom fan so I hope I can make new friends and connect via my intrests

please explain this.
please remove your age from your profile.

scratch got blocked at my school

Why on earth? Scratch works so hard at being squeaky-clean.

pls be respectful of my boundaries pls although I will remove my age I dislike that I am being judged 4 my interests so hope fully this can be resolved

too many ppl used it so it go banned T_T

ima work on my DSAF fangame! got the arrow keys working

It’s because kids play games on it, and schools hate fun.

Well, we try not to judge others on the snap forum, so you should be safe.

ty but fr tho we gotta find proxy websites in my school just to have fun they even restricted some YouTube videos

but check out my w.i.p fangame I think I’m doing preppy good!

I mean pretty sry typo!

The age thing is about internet safety  .

I don’t know for sure about @sathvikrias, but I don’t know what dsaf is

A 5-second Google search would have sufficed. According to the results, dsaf stands for Dayshift at Freddy’s.

its a rly good fangame! for fnaf

Yeah I pretty much got here for the same reason

huh?

I know what that means, I don’t think it is used correctly.

no, you are judged because you are way too focused on your interests compared to snap.

I should not have to have to google what stuff means just to understand a user. Unless they are speaking in a different language, obviously.

I think that is banned on scratch.

They can combine their interests with snap. There’s nothing wrong with being very focused on their interests.

So you’re saying I should start putting summaries of every video game I mention? I think it’s fine having to google search something you don’t understand, that’s what it’s for.

So? That doesn’t stop them from talking about it or liking it, and that has nothing to do with snap.

Heh, Scratch being blocked three or so years ago is what brought me here, too.

Because games.

Scratch being blocked also brought me here. I was desperately searching for another block-coding website when I remembered that I had a book that showed you how to code using Snap!.

Although Scratch is a very clean and kid-friendly site, many people upload games, which schools don’t want kids playing (it distracts them from their classes), so the solution for the schools is to block Scratch entirely.

Edit:

They blocked it even though it is categorized as “educational”.

hi

I don’t understand what they are saying. I do not care at all if they are talking about their favorite game, but they are using as much video game terms as english. Here is an example.

I don’t recall you doing stuff like this, ever.

right, I meant that it was banned for a reason. I should have been more clear.
