I don’t know what category to put this in so i will just put it in this one because i see it as a cool bug. So anyways. We all know it is impossible to put a hat block in a custom block until now! So first make a custom block under any name then stay in the custom block editor then drag a hat block into the regular editor then ringify the hat block then drag the hat block with the ring still on it into the custom blocks editor the now you can take the hat block out of the ring in the custom block editor then bam you have a hat block in a custom block!
What is this?
What?
The script that you showed me. What does it do? Edit :Never mind i get it now
I knew about this, and I did not report it because honestly this should stay. SO useful for me when I “commentate” or try to explain code in the block definition. Please do not remove this. The average snap user would not come across this, and nobody’s experience with snap would be worse if this was kept in.
Ringifying hat blocks is a feature we’ve introduced in v10.3.0
To add onto this.
If we couldn’t drag ringified hat blocks into a block editor, then that would limit what we can do in custom blocks. Yes, you can unringify a hat block in a custom block definition, which does break a bit, but it’s still better than now allowing ringified hat blocks.
