Extended Posting Privileges

Hello!

I have a number of students joining the forum to collaborate on assignments, and I'm wondering if there's any information on what they must do to receive extended posting privileges (ie. more than one post per strand, the ability to share images, etc...) I'm assuming it's after they've made a certain number of posts, but a link to guidelines I can share with them would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Jo

when users join the forum, they're at trust level 0, which comes with a lot of restrictions (to discourage spam bots). You can read about trust levels here https://blog.discourse.org/2018/06/understanding-discourse-trust-levels/ There are a few differences between this forum and regular discourse, like giving and receiving likes, those are set to 0 in this forum since you can't like posts.

Thank you so much. This is exactly what I need to share with them.

you're welcome

Really the last one is most important; the whole purpose is to lock out spambots.
