Don't make the system close the topic after 100 replies

Oh. What coding language does it use?

idk, but I did find this on the github page,

Discourse is 100% free and open source

link: https://github.com/discourse/discourse#contributing

edit: here's what is says on github for the languages it was made with

Yeah. You have to pay to use it. But it's free if you want to self-host it. Like download from Github.

You mean,

The source code is under the GPL license, which means you don't have to pay to use the software.
But they offer a service where you can pay to have them host your forum.

Whatever. Same thing.

If you guys are going to argue about licensing, please go to that thread to do it!

I meant that's what the Scratch forums do (that's why long topics take a lot longer to load than shorter ones), and that shouldn't be present if pagination was implemented in this too (which it would if it was copied directly, but again, Scratch is DjangoBB and this is Discourse so it wouldn't work).

Why do you ping system if they will not respond over and over again….

Well, it's not a person, so pinging it (presumably) does no harm.

But it seems odd.

Just letting you know.
It's like saying "earthrulerr" and "@earthrulerr". Which one is better?

Except I’m a person and not a bot.

I use the atsign to get the forum software to spell the name for me, especially for those of you with ridiculously long names ;~), and then delete the atsign so the person won't be pinged.

When you mention someone, it sends them unnecessary alerts.

I'm sure it's hard to type my name. Don't ask why I chose it.

Why did you choose it?

My student ID number is that number.

Ok maybe you should tell @bh to change it and delete your post. I think you shouldn’t share it.

Please tell me every kid in your school isn't using their SID as their login!

There is a separate password coordinated with it but yeah.
