Back (discussing the future of tethrarxitet on snap!)

Guess who’s back, back again?

I got… like… SO bored outside this place. So I decided to come back.

And good lord, I must’ve missed something…

Animated symbols.
WHAT

And also, process management blocks! That’s pretty cool.

Anyway, I’m here to discuss my future plans on this site, and what to expect from me from here on. :)

So, @codingisfun2831t and I decided to try reviving Crackle as it should be… and not as a sad little husk of what once was - (I’m of course talking about the really dry GitHub repository lol). We’re going to be taking some creative liberties with Crackle, in that Crackle will probably be immensely different than Sparkle. I will discuss more with cif#t, but my plan for the alpha will be similar to the regular src_load, in that base prototypes can be backed up by saving them into an object (like $SpriteMorph = SpriteMorph). This will change later.

About myself, I decided that I’d try making some basic plugins that add multiple features to Snap! - such as shaders, blending (or expansions thereof), better 3D, and plenty more exclusive plugins to be seen! :)

That being said, I still probably won’t be here often, but just know that now I’m getting back into the swing of things!

Hello! :D Also, Ive already made Crackle. Now I’m at school so I cant browse for the real link, but I think it’s git.hermits.cc/codingisfun2831t/Crackle. If that doesn’t work I think you can look for it on the same git.hermits.cc site. And I’ve already added a wrapFunction API that allows hooking, so probably not for that. This is a pleasant suprise for going on the forums! One minute ago, wow.

huh? where?

Create a block with the symbol $gearsAnimated.

You can also see it if you structure the new process block like so:
untitled script pic

oh, that’s cool. I haven’t been active much here lately either.
