I like how you changed the variables to make the tree less predictable. I did something similar in my project by changing the rotation values, and even small number changes made the final pattern look very different. Maybe you could try changing one value at a time, like the angle or the size multiplier, so you can see exactly how each one changes the tree. You could also try changing the color as the branches get smaller to make the different levels stand out more.
I think the black hole effect works really well, especially with the circles getting smaller and overlapping toward the center. In my project I also used repeated shapes, and I noticed that changing the size or angle can completely change the final pattern. Since you want to make it more random, maybe you could use random values for the circle size or position so each black hole looks a little different. I also think adding small stars in the background would make the depth effect even stronger.
I really love the funneling effect of this work. It really shows how you can use simple 2D lines to make 2D shapes and eventually create a 3D space. The way you’ve designed the algorithm really seems to have nailed the effect and look you were trying to achieve. It even feels like there is an unseen course down the central depths.
I really like the branching pattern and the light blue color! I think adding a background would help the tree stand out more. Another cool idea could be adding a second tree that mirrors the first to fill more of the empty space and make the design feel more balanced.
This is well-executed work that generates inspiring art. Hand-tuned arcs incorporate custom blocks and a parameterized bird pattern. There are quite a few other capabilities of Snap! that could be used to enhance this program. For example, here’s a revision that incorporates the Arc block from the Snap! Arc library:

This is amazing! I really like how the birds change colors—it gives the pattern a very artistic feel. More than anything, I think it’s impressive that you came up with the idea of creating the shape of a bird using curves and lines. I can also tell that you put significant effort into the code. Great work!
I like your overall project a lot. It’s similar to mine with the tree, but a lot cooler. Maybe something you could do is try to mirror the branches on both sides to make a “fuller” brush of branches
I like your flower, but it only has simple lines which makes it a bit bland. Maybe you can color it in more or use different colors to make the flower look more vibrant. I feel like you could also add more of these flowers across the stage.
I loved the way you used the square concept we looked at earlier and turned into something abstract. Watching the petals slowly form when the project starts I think adds so much to your piece. One thing you could do is turn the code into a custom block and than allow users to set each petal to the color of their choosing to further explore colors in snap!. Overall I really enjoyed your project.
This is such a unique way to represent space and the shape of the galaxy! The spiral filled with stars creates a really cool visual effect once the drawing is complete, but I also found it fascinating to watch the design come together in real time. In my own project, I explored a similar idea of using art to represent space and some of its mysteries. Seeing your interpretation gave me inspiration for ways I could continue developing and changing my own project in the future!
I really like how you made the polygon customizable with different side and size options! Building on that, I think it’d be great to add an input for the spin-polygon’s center point. That way, you’d easily be able to create and position multiple spin-polygons. The coloring was also very nice to see!
Initially I was only playing around with individual pieces and not properly drawing with an algorithm but after I learned how to do individual parts of my drawing I put it all together into one. Originally I only had set the stage to blue, had a straight line to set the area for the soil and a basic sun made from circle square from class. In my second revision I put everything together and added a flower and roots, with fixing the soil and sun and I while I was working on the flower I liked the idea that the sun and flower would share the same shape so I decided to do just that. On my final and third revision, I took my feedback and worked on making my code more compact and clean, this also resulted in me changing how my roots functioned but I think now they are more natural looking so I am happy with it.
I think I find your art especially cool because I also went with a space theme, but even then the idea is very unique and cool. I don’t have much experience with Snap! but I think what could make our projects even better is make the objects animated. I can imagine your two stars colliding into each other and turning into one, and then for my project, making my galaxy spin.
I really like your design of the tree shape, I feel like it is both geometric but also organic and blends them well. To make it look cooler, I would suggest repeating the tree design in different sizes, colors, and orientations. I feel like this would fill the stage and give your design a more pronounced effect.
I really liked how you used different shapes like a rhombus to find a pattern that worked better for your shape! I can see why the rhombus achieved the shell shape because of the slight curve and the point at the edge of the shape
