FYI one of the features of Advent of Code is that we all get given different inputs so our answers will be different.
The examples are all the same but each of us gets different inputs for us to solve
oh gosh this one is so hard
I'm out for the day so probably won't complete today but I'vei made a start
This one was kind of interesting to create.
I decided to make it search for the words the way I do word searches, by scanning each row until I find the first letter, and then I scan each direction to see if the word is there.
As I'm writing this, I'm also thinking it might be possible to just rotate list list in each direction, and use one of those multi search blocks to find every instance it appears in that orientation.
Came back to this one today but could only find 13 in the sample
Took me ages to find the little error(s) in my search matrix!
So Part 1 and Part 2 done - this was a nice puzzle - shame I just made it hard for myself
